Dear Beverly & Brian, Words cannot tell you how sorry I am about Miss Mattie Jo. I just had a long talk with her at the beauty shop a few weeks ago. We talked about the years we spent together as one happy "street" family when I was growing up and what a good time I had talking with her. I am grateful now that I saw her and had this time with her { at least an hour or more}. Please know that I love you and will keep you and your families in my prayers.

Joe, Beverly, Brian and Pam, so many memories. Thank you for the wonderful life of your wife and mother. What a blessing she has been for the Vaughn family. She truly represented everything the pastor said in her service. I think back to all the wonderful times we had in that house on Moody Street and I will always treasure those memories. I love you. May God continue to guide you and protect you in the days ahead. Love, Phyllis

Granny, Today is the third week since you left us. Everyday gets harder. It seems like a lifetime since you called and said come get the cookies that I baked for you or come by and I've got something for you but don't tell anyone. All those secrets will be kept in our heart until the day we die. Granny, you were the BEST! You always showed us LOVE. That is all you knew was to show LOVE and give LOVE. We felt your LOVE all of our life. You were the type of Grandmother that everyone would fight to have. Our Mother loved you so much, too. You were her shoulder to cry on when our Papa died. Momma really depended on your LOVE and Support, and you gave her just that. Also, Our Daddy loved you dearly. He has had a hard time dealing with your passing, but each day we can tell he is getting a little better. Granny, we will never ever forget you, because we still feel your LOVE coming down from HEAVEN and showering upon us. You are our Guardian Angel. GOD BLESS YOU GRANNY VAUGHN! WE LOVE YOU, Brad and Justin
