Although I only briefly met Mr. Hoke several years ago through my dad, Curtis Poole, Mr. Hoke was well thought of by my dad. Their friendship and acquaintance spanned many years. My condolence to the Thomas family.

I knew Mr. Thomas when he came in the bank at First Nation Bank on West Avenue. I just learned of his death this past weekend and I am truly saddened to know that not only has the world lost a genuinely sincere man but I have lost a great friend. I loved Mr. Thomas like he was my own father or grandfather. He was a true friend and I will always remember his yellow socks that he wore everytime he came in the bank. My condolences go out to the family. He was a great man.
