Dear Family, My heart is heavy for you, I know the hurt you are feeling. I am praying for God's grace to surround you and his peace, love , and strength to sustain you. Carolyn was always so kind and good to me, I was so very young when Sidney and I married, and looked to her for advice and a shoulder. She was always there, and always made me feel like so much a part of the family. I learned from her the joys of being a mother ,a wife, and watching her make a warm home for her family. She was a jewel, I know the seperation is so painful, but I also know that she is celebrating with her father in heaven, and all those that went before her. We have so much to look forward to. When our graduation comes. I know she is in heaven rejoicing.I am so glad that God let me share a small part of Carolyn's life, what a blessing it was for me. My Love to each one of you, Glenda

Dear Wayne, I was really shocked to hear the news about "Ms." Carolyn. I worked with her when the bank converted over to BB&T in downtown Greensboro. In those, almost 4 years, I got to know and love her so much. I know you are missing her. I just want you to know that I am thinking about you and the family and are keeping you in my prayers. Love, Merel

I am the daughter of Carolyn's first cousin, Max McCord. She meant a great deal to my dad growing up and still today. He was reminiscencing about teaching her to dance as a teenager the other day! I wanted to send my sympathies to all of you during this time. God bless you and keep you and may His light shine upon you and give you peace. Sincerely, Stacey Hardigree
