My condolences to the family. I pray you find comfort in knowing that even though we may loose our loved ones in death, God will bring back to life all those found in his memory. (Job 14:15 John 5:28,29 Acts 24:15)

My deepest sympathy to all Harold's family. He was always a wonderful young man growing up with so much integrity. I know you are so proud to be part of his family. I wonder if he kept his love of horses for his lifetime as he was such a horselover as a schoolboy.

Dear Betty Ann, I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the entire family. While I have not had the pleasure of personally meeting your husband, I am truly sorry for your loss. I am sure, Harold was a excellent husband, father and grandfather that you will have many cherished memories of. In times like these, I turn to God's Word the Bible for comfort, and I would like to share with you a wonderful promise he has made to us in John 5:28,29 which says in part, Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Also Revelation 21:3,4 gives us this assurance, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more." May you all find much comfort in these future promises. My thoughts and prayers will be with you in this most difficult time.

Ms. Betty and family: I am heartbroken for you all. Hal was so very special to me and my family. He was a friend, a mentor, an inspiration in his faith, a "Papa" to my children, someone to discuss horseracing with, a golf buddy to my husband, and he will be missed by us all. You are all in my prayers and thoughts.

To my sweetheart, I love you so much. Our 51 years together weren’t always easy but we always had love and laughter. We learned from each other until we blended into one. I will miss you so much but I know you will still be with me, poking me when I say to much, chastising me when I go to far, but always loving me. Goodbye my love, until we meet again.

I'm a friend of Jenn's from Verizon. Please accept my deepest sympathies. That smile in the picture of Hal along with the wonderful words about his life confirmed what Jenn had already told me: what an amazing man he was! He went to sleep sick and woke up well. May God continue to hold you all in His loving arms in the days and weeks to come.

Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for all of you at this time. Hal was definitely one of a kind...strong, loving, a truly wonderful man. He touched many lives and anyone who knew him was very blessed. I know you will always miss him, but Hal will live on in each of you in everything you do. So as there are tears now one day there will come a time when your heart will be filled with joy and love as a smile comes across your face when you think about him. All my love to each of you and may God give you peace in your heart.
