IT SEEMS AS IF MR. BUCK WAS A PART OF THE POOLE FAMILY, HAVING BEEN A PART OF MY FOLKS LIFE IN DAYS PAST. THEY WERE ALWAYS FRIENDS SOME HOW CONNECTED AS YOUNG PEOPLE, ATTENDING CHURCH TOGETHER AND SOME HOW LIVED CLOSE TO ONE ANOTHER IN DAYS PAST. MY CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO JOHNNY, JR, CAROLYN, ANN AND FAMILIES.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. Johnnie, Jr. was a classmate and friend of mine. I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He had a nice, long life, blessed with a big family. He will be missed, of course, but rest in the fact that he has been reunited with his family and that he is in the presence of our loving Lord.

Johnny, Jr,Carolyn, Ann, Judy. It is much grief to hear about Buck but 97 is a good life. I know he lived life as it came with humor and STYLE. My brother Gillard (lick) told of many fond memories he and Buck had growing up in the same era. Kinda makes one wonder, though times were hard, people seemed to enjoy life more. Maybe that we were born in the wrong span of time. My thoughts are with you and your families during this time. Allen

Buck was our darling neighbor… living next door to us. He was such a marvelous neighbor ! We will miss him ever so much. In the fall of 2008 he moved over to Willow Run to live. He was there where he died… He was truly remarkable gentlemen. He was a true southern Gentleman. We felt so lucky to have known him all of these years, and it will be ever so different to see someone else over there in that home… Since Rosa Mae & Buck have lived on that piece of property most of their married life. Whenever we needed help with our automobiles he was over here helping Herb. We never asked him to help !! He was just there !! We so enjoyed chatting with him as well. He always did his own yard work and other repairs around his home until his age really started to tell on him. However, he didn’t mind Herb helping him out at times when he needed someone to be there… Here’s to you neighbor! A great toast of Love, Kindness, a caring heart for others, which you just seem to give to so many others who crossed your path during your lifetime. Thank you for allowing us to be in your friendship circle during these many years. Until we meet again in GOD’s house… many blessings to you always !!
