Christy and Family…You are so very lucky to have had such a wonderful husband and Dad. He fought hard, and his family fought with him every step of the way. All of you did such a wonderful job of caring for him during his illness. I know that your hearts are filled with sorrow, but remember “Earth has no sorrows that Heaven cannot heal.” Take comfort in knowing that he is with his Heavenly Father and is now healed. Store away the precious memories in your heart, and when needed, pull one out and let it soothe and comfort you. May God give you peace and comfort that only he can give. Most of all, know that one day you will be reunited again for eternity.

He cooked a wonderful meal that I got to enjoy this past summer (he made a special trip just for buttermilk for the cornbread). But his greatest contribution to my life is his son, Ray Jr. I am indebted to Mr. Rhodes and look forward to a reunion at the feet of King Jesus!
