Helen Moore Caldwell Prickett, age 82, of Union Point, GA, died Saturday, January 8, 2005 at Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital. Born in Cobb County on January 22, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Henry Theodore Moore and Nola Noma Redd Moore. In the mid 1940''s she moved to Greene County and during the 1950''s and 1960''s, she was a receptionist for Dr. Bill Keiter. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Union Point, one of the founding members of the Happy Hearts Club and a member of Tuesday Night Bingo. Her favorite hobby was golf, but she also loved to sew. A She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emmett Elmo Caldwell in 1962 and her second husband George Weldon Prickett; a brother, Millard Moore and a sister, Era Moore. She is survived by a son, J. Emmett Caldwell and wife Shirley of Athens, GA; two grandchildren, Chris Caldwell and wife Heather of Bogart, GA and Craig Caldwell of Atlanta, GA; three great-grandchildren, Tori Caldwell, Seth Caldwell and Natalie Caldwell and a number of other relatives and friends. A Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Union Point with Rev. Les Cowart and Rev. Landon Carey officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery in Greensboro. Serving as pallbearers are Craig Caldwell, Chris Caldwell, Weldon Sisson, Henry Sisson, Mark Channell, Wayne Jackson and Richard Newsom. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday night at the funeral home. The family requests that any memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, c/o Jeannette Turner, 6041 Union Point Highway, Union Point, GA 30669. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W. EMMETT, I AM SO SORRY. YOUR MOTHER WAS A WONDERFUL WOMAN AND I WAS LUCKY TO HAVE KNOWN HER AND HAVE BEEN HER FRIEND.I WILL TRULY MISS HAVING HER COME IN THE STORE AND TALKING TO HER.SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL PERSON INSIDE AND OUTSIDE.
