I am sadden to hear of Gene's passing. He and I worked together at Delta for an extended period of time in the early 60's and in later years enjoyed playing golf together at Port Armor. He was a super individual and will be missed by all.

We were saddened to learn of Gene's death. We valued his friendship for many years and were so very sorry that he suffered pain for so long. Now he is pain-free and will suffer no longer. He was my pew partner at church when you were singing in the choir, and John played cards, golf, and church work with Gene. Gene will be missed. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Never had the pleasure of knowing you, Mr. O'Kelley, but I know you raised 4 fine men (and daughters too) who love you more than anything. The legacy you leave behind is something that every man strives for, and I know you must be so proud. God speed sir.
