It was my honor to have known Pat and called him a dear friend for many years. During that time he was part of a group of friends that traveled to such interesting places as Europe, Canada, Alaska, and all over the United States. He was always ready to travel. Pat was known for having his camera and he was always quick to take a picture. If you had a problem he always had a ear to listen. I also think he was one of the kindest and most generous friends I have ever known. Pat will be missed by many and heaven awaits him.

I am very saddened to hear of Pat's death. He was a dear cousin of mine. Though I have not seen him in many years I have fond memories of my visits to his home in Siloam when we were children, playing and having so much fun together. My thoughts and prayers are with Shirley and Don during this time. Pam Hart Gunter

You have my deepest sympathies. Although I only got to know Pat, after he moved to Atlanta, he will be greatly missed. I enjoyed having him join Hammond, and other friends, for many meals, especially several holidays. He was a gentle and caring man with a good heart.
