Audrey's only daughter-Nancy Hood Boczar,is my dear longtime and very close friend. Nancy and I always talked about how both of our Mother's in their 80's, were the last of the "Truest Classy Ladies." I really can say I love Ms. Audrey because she made it so easy for me to connect with her right-away. She was so warm and affectionate with my toddler son and baby daughter. as well. I think the last picture we have of Miss Audrey is very recent holding my baby Ella on her lap. Miss Audrey had such a lovely and soothing deameanor with everyone. Personal Note to Miss Audrey: I am blessed to have known you and wish I got to spend more time talking with you. Thank you for taking the time to come visit me twice over the last year and a half, and allowing my children to experience your wonderful energy and kindness. I admire everything you have gone through and your prevailing grace, independence and CLASS! My life has been touched by knowing you in such a great way as a woman. I am sorry you had to leave, but glad your suffering was temporary. Also, I am grateful for you bringing your daughter Nancy into this world; she has been one of the best friends I have ever had and a sister to me. I want you to know I promise to be here to support and, help her and her family in anyway I can.

To Audrey's family: I have been away from Greensboro and Church of the Redeemer for 16 years now, but Audrey is one person I remember as one of the "faithful" of the church. When we were few in numbers, Audrey was one of those few. She is surely in the place He has already prepared for her. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. Molly Darnell
