Vern, we will be missing you terribly. There will not be a trivia game ever again that we won't be wishing you were there to carry us on to victory. I also loved the great golf with you even when you weren't feeling so hot. Joan, we wish you peace and wonderful memories of a very special man.

Dear Joan, Deanie and I were saddened by news of Vernon's death. He played a significant part in our meeting each other and subsequent marriage. He was always someone you looked forward to spending time with; always so interesting and positive. He was one of those individuals who created many bright moments during our time here on this earth. Our love to you and all the family.
