To the Lovell Family: As I read the obituary for Mr. Lovell, I was truly impressed by the outstanding and full life he lived. Never-the-less, losing such precious loved ones causes us much pain. It is our hope that you find a measure of comfort knowing that our grand Creator plans to restore his original purpose and make it possible for all mankind (including loved ones we have lost in death) to live forever under perfect conditions. (Matthew 6:10; Revelation 21:3-5). Please accept our condolences as you deal with the loss of Mr. Lovell and contemplate the hope of seeing him once again.

What a beautiful tribute Sunday to your Dad and Father-in-law. We never met him but feel we got to know him during his service. Thank you for taking care of him and Mary in your home. We can all learn from your example. May we each pass on what we have received, thru the love of Christ in our lives, over the years.

Dear Mary, Kathy, Rita, Alma, Ron, Donna, and Sandy, Tess and I are sorry for your loss, and we offer our sympathies. Though I had not seen cousin Eldridge in decades, I was kept aware of his life by his brothers and sisters. I hope your sorrow will be short-lived and the fond memories of him will sustain you.

I was just on my computor looking at Dad's Guest Book. Then realized it was just a week ago at THIS time that we were having the most Beautiful Celebration of your Life. It is hard to believe that you are no longer here for me to talk to you. It still seems like a dream and that you will walk through the door any minute. I look out my window and I expect to see you. When I don't, I wonder if the birds or butterflies that are floating around could be you and you are telling me that you are so very happy. Hope you and Rusty enjoyed his birthday the other day. I LOVE YOU DAD - MISS YOU!!Kathy

To all of Vern's family: I had written soon after his death, but somehow I must have done something not quite right as it has never appeared.....Vern was a great guy and we miss him. While he lived here in Springfield, we kept in touch and had some very good times together..... with Vern there was never a lack of conversation. He could make us laugh the minute we stepped into his door or the minute he stepped into our door. We camped together, fished, cooked and ate and sat around the campfire many times at Lake Shelbyville and at Mark Twain Lake in Missouri and had good times in their home in Osage Beach. Our dear friend Ann was so happy with him and we know he took good care of her until the end. Vern, we will always miss you. Your friends, the Wheelers, Chuck and Barb
