Wayne E. Leach, age 63, of Greensboro, GA, died Sunday, October 31, 2004 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Greene County on January 27, 1941, he was the son of the late Hugh Hails Leach and Hazel Phillips Leach. He graduated from Greensboro High School and later became the owner and operator of Leach Sand and Gravel. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church of Jonesboro, GA. A Survivors include his companion, Kathy Sibley; three daughters, Lanette Drennan and husband Rusty of McDonough, GA, Michele Gable and husband Robby of Williamson, GA and Rhonda Chitwood and husband Tom of McDonough, GA; a son, Michael Wayne Leach and wife Tanya of McDonough, GA; a sister, Elaine Webb and husband Niles of Greensboro, GA; six grandchildren; T. J. Chitwood, Tyler Chitwood, Logan Chitwood, Taylor Gable, Kaylin Gable and Elizabeth Leach; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Williamson; and two brothers, L. G. Leach and Hails Leach. A Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Walker United Methodist Church with Rev. Buddy Norton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Tom Chitwood, Rusty Drennan, Robby Gable, T. J. Chitwood, Darrell Padgett and Billy Leach. The family requests that any memorials may be made to the Walker United Methodist Church, 2730 Walker Church Road, Greensboro, GA 30642. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W. Broad St., Greensboro, GA, (706) 453-2626, is in charge of arrangements. I just wanted to let the family know that all of you are in my prayers. I am Bobby's daughter. I have sent some flowers. I wish that I could have been there for yall. I am very sorry. I had a lot of great memories of riding horses with Wayne, being out on the lake with him, and lots of others. Please let me know if I can do anything for yall. Dad, It's been 2 years and we miss you everyday!! We were at the cabin this past weekend. Taylor went hunting and it brought back alot of memories of you hunting with Mike. We will forever miss you!! Love you!! Michele
