Tina- Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel for you and the family. Although no words can really ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in thought and prayer. You two were really blessed to have each other. What can I say about Hal. Wow what a great guy, what a great friend. God Bless you Hal. Just A Carol City Girl

Dearest Tina, We met at the last High School reunion. Hal was always bigger than life itself and that smile he will be missed greatly. Even if he was just passing through with his young years... the time that was spent with you made up for a lifetime. You were sole mates and people go a life time without ever sharing that. I am so sorry for your loss. "What the Heart once owned and had, it shall never lose." Love Mary

I was so very sorry and sad to see this online. I met Hal in the early 1980's when he was one of my salesmen when I was at Rich's. I remember calling Hal early one morning when he was skiing out west and telling him that I got him an interview at Chaps and he needed to be there early the following morning and he told me to call him later when he was awake and coherent....:) Hal was truly one of the very nice guys in the retail industry or anywhere for that matter. He will be really missed. My thoughts are with all of his family. All my very best wishes, Rick Apseloff
