I am absolutely stunned to read of Jim's passing. We were shipmates at Sidi Yahia, Morocco and teammates on the 1956 and 1957 CINCLM championship softball teams. We travelled to the states both years to participate in the East Coast Navy Tournament. He was at terrific pitcher, teammate, shipmate and friend. Jim was a gentle giant. Kind, considerate, trustworthy, of the highest integrity. Jim was a wonderful person and I and other shipmates and teammates will never forget him. May God take care of Jim as Jim took care of us. Rest in everlasting peace, Jim. P. Spencer George (Spence)
