To Charles and all other family members. Having grown up in Crawfordville I hold many fond memoeries of Sam from the late forties and early fifties. I am proud to say that most times I have visited in Crawfordville in recent years I would always see Sam if only for a few minutes. Not only has your family lost a fine man but so has the surrounding community. I hope to be there for the funeral, if not our prayers and thoughts go out to the family. Jimie Yearwood

I just happened to see Sam's obituary. It has been so long but I still so very fondly remember all the Greenes' when we were neigbors and later when I visited in Crawfordville. My brother thought so much of Sam. My sympathy to all the family.
