This kind lady has always made a very positive impression on me since she and Sam first opened their store and she brought Ingrid and Glenn to Sunday School at the Methodist Church. And, then when Glenn and Doris were married and there was a more direct link with the Oliver family, I became even more impressed Evabel and her love for her family, community and God. Her suffering has ended and she has gone to be with God the Father and his Son Jesus. God Rest Her Soul !! Love, Smith

I loved Mrs Evabel . She was one of the first people I got to know in Greene County. She was such an energetic and loving person. She took my children and me under her wing and loved us so much. She wanted so to go HOME. She was so ready. Praise the Lord she is finally there.

Glenn and Igrid, Such a funny lady, Miss Evabell. I will miss her. She and I had such funny and entertaining talks at the grocery stores, especially Ingles most every week. It was so funny about the little things of a grocery store that could turn our conversations into laughter. She will remain in my heart always. I know that you will miss her too. I only got to me Evabel twice in my life and she welcomed me into the Goldstein family with friendly conversation stories at the 2004 reunion. Somehow Lori and my daughters got to stand behind her in the family reunion photo. They were so proud. Thanks so much

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have fond memories of going to "Goldstein's" to see what new clothes had come in and Miss Evabel would let me take something home on approval to show mom and hopefully would not have to return it. What a smart lady. She was always so friendly and patient with all us teenage girls. What a special lady she was and she will be missed. Glenn and Barbara Moon
