I am deeply saddened to hear the new of Tony's passing. I was his classmate in high school and while I reconnected with him briefly, I was sorry that he was unable to attend our 20th reunion last summer. He was a great guy with a fantastic sense of humor and a zest for life. My most sincere condolences go out to his loved ones.

Tony was a great friend and I will miss him dearly. We lost contact with each other for about 17 years. Last March I had the great pleasure of seeing Tony again at his place in Georgia. We had a great time catching up and remembering times long gone. Tony was full of life and I learned an important lesson from him about life being too short. Rest in peace my friend. You will always be remembered. Until we meet again my Brother.

Although I only knew Tony in highschool his memory will stay with me forever as he was a good friend and so much fun to be around. I reconnected with him recently, albeit far too briefly. My heart goes out to his family and friends. He will surely be missed. God Bless.

Dear Hug & Family, Just saw the Hugs commercial on TV today & it brought tears to my eyes seeing Tony. He will live on in the memories of so many! His smile, his friendliness & kindness--all that made Tony the special guy he was, we'll never forget! Our hearts go out to you, Julie, his children & family & all the people he worked with & knew & loved him. So sorry I can't be there Saturday because I just had neck surgery, but Mike will be there to play the drums & make music with Elton...music that Tony enjoyed so much. Love Always, Vonn & Mike Jarrard

I met Tony and Julie at the cancer center. We talked, while we waited. We were both "young" in a place filled with a lot of older people. I won't forget that day, I was just starting my "cancer journey." I won't forget Tony, who seemed so upbeat. I have often thought of your family and wondered how Tony was doing. I was brought to tears when I saw it in the paper. My heart and prayers are for your family. May God just wrap His arms around you and give you some peace. I will be thinking of you often.....

I knew Tony as his high school cross country coach, track coach and as his guidance counselor. In every aspect, Tony was an absolutely wonderful, kind, sensitive and gentle young man. As an athlete, Tony was one of the best I ever coached, and as a human being, he was a very special person who had much to offer. We have all lost in his passing, as the world was a much better place with him in it.

My deepest sympathies go out to Julie, Aidan, Keegan, and Hugette. I grew up knowing, working, running, and just being good friends with Tony. He was a wonderful friend and a great all around person. Though it has been a few years since I have had contact with Tony I will never forget those wonderful times we shared as friends---especially our great trip out to Reno together, which Jack and Hugette were such a huge part of. People like Tony don't come around often and the made the world a brighter place to be a part of. Rest in peace Tony. I will forever miss you.

Dear Hug, My deepest sympathy to you and Tony's young family. For a number of years now, as part of our Cuscowilla trip we have enjoyed Tony's hospitality at the restaurant. I epecially remember being there shortly after the birth of Aidan and seeing Tony's unbridled joy and excitment at the arrival of his first son as he shared a picture with us. As you may recall, I knew Tony as a youngster as a friend of my son David. It was a treat for me to see him on our annual trip and to see what a fine young man he turned out to be. I know you and Jack took tremendous (well deserved) pride in Tony's development and accomplishments....I loved to hear Jack talk about Tony..that pride was so evident. It seemed to me that Tony was awful good for Jack as well. Your relationship with Tony was something very special and something well beyond the normal "mom- son" relationship and will remain something you will cherish forever. This relationship and great memories will help you through the grief you feel now. You, Jack and Tony have established a strong presence in the South and I know all your friends will rally around you and Tony's family to provide the necessay strength to soften and cope with the grief you are feeling. My very best and deepest sympathies to you Hug. We will be in Cuscowilla this spring and look forward to seeing you at the restaurant and/or out on the course. God Bless you Win Robinson

Hug, I'm so sorry. So many thoughts and memories. Of Tony going to the dumpster and the bear climbing out; of him at your wedding all dressed up, proud and smiling and winking at me when I told Jack he could kiss his bride. It isn't right that our children go before we do. Love,
