I remember Harold very well, he was a little older than Mickey Channell and I. He use to walk Mickey and I to the picture show in Greensboro from Channell Bros. Grocery store, to make sure we got there okay. Great man, and a caring man, will be missed..

I'm so sorry for your loss. In the few times at the Strickland family gatherings, including my father's death, he was very nice to us and we appreciated it very much. From what I heard at the service yesterday, from the speakers, he was a jewel of a man. The world could use more like him! God Bless!
