Sue, Matt, and all the family, My condolences to you all. I have many memories of Bob to treasure. Most center around golf, SU sports, Kentucky basketball, golf trips to Florida for a week in early April, the time Andy, Andy's brother and I stayed at your place then went to a Masters practice round (that was likely 1996 or 1997), played a round at your golf course then went to Florida for a week. That year Kentucky had beat SU in the NCAA finals. At the Masters I had on a SU hat and Bob had a Kentucky hat. Some guy asked us what in the world we were doing together? Also many 'sea stories' about the old days at GE. Great stories that get embellished with time but remain entertaining in any event. With sympathy and warmest regards to all, Larry

As a military brother, I mourn the loss of my friend Bob. Through the electronic miracle of the internet, Bob and I and his military brothers and sisters have been able to converse nearly daily. Bob's displayed courage during the last several months, has inspired me. I know our Lord has a special place for him.

So sorry, Sue, about Bob. I'm so glad we were able to say "Goodbye" to him. It was so sad to see him suffer and have to go through this. We love you and you are in our prayers. Love, Angela and Larry P.S. I saw Cindy Martz also died and is at McCommons. Her daughter was a good friend of my daughters when Laray was at Green County school and Larry used to coach her son, Josh, who played with our son, Brett,in baseball. I didn't even know she had died until I saw Bob's obituary.

I offer my deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to Bob's wife, Sue, and his entire family that he so passionately cherished. Although Bob and I never served together in the military, we met on the USAFSS in Misawa website (usafssinmisawa.org) when he joined in 2005. He would often pose questions to our group that made us think and rethink what we'd taken for granted for so long. He had a knack for probing subjects. He was also a gifted photographer and we looked forward to the images he would share with us. I finally got to meet Bob in person at a Misawa reunion, and he was in person every bit the loveable and interesting character I'd become so fond of over the Internet. Bob's passing has left our group deeply saddened, and his absence amongst us creates a void that will not soon be filled. Rest well, Bob. Your memory will remain bright in our midst, and we're much better for having known you, even for such a short time. -Dutch

My introduction to Reynolds Landing (Port Armor) was with Bob and his grandsons, who were visiting from Texas. As a father of three boys Bob and I immediately had some mutual ground from which to build a friendship that endured through our own bonding and love for life. I consider it a privilege to have walked the road of life with Bob, My life is better as the result of this journey. To the family we wish you God's richest blessings during this difficult time in your life.

Bob was one of our family of USAF veterans who served in the Security Service over in Misawa, Japan. We have a web-site and he was a frequent contributor to our memories of Japan, flavoring everything with his sense of humor. Many of us had the opportunity to meet and visit with Bob and Sue at our reunions or when they would travel around and stop to say "Howdy" at a Cracker Barrel. He will be missed by his many friends. May he rest in peace and my God bring healing to his family.

Sue, we don't need to tell you what a kind gentle man Bob was. In fact, he was one of the kindest of all! We moved to, what was then, Port Armor in 1993 and Bob was one of the first to invite me to play a round of golf. It was always a pleasure to be paired in the same foursome with Bob and I always took home a good tip of how to improve my game, he was a man among men.
