Ms. Jean was a dear and true friend, mentor and colleague of mine. I worked with Jean at ACTION, Inc. for most all of her 22 years. (She was there first!) We traveled together for meetings She helped me get through several crises in my life. I remember one time (it was my birthday) and she called about midnight to "check on me". The timing was perfect (she had no idea of another unwanted call I had just recieved). Having her to call at that particular time was and still is a true blessing. I will never forget all that she did for me. Your Mom was the sweetest, kindest, trusted friend. I will miss her (though we didnt talk much since she left ACTION (staff, board member and volunteer) I kept up with her through Jeni Norris. May God continue to bless you and your family. Ms. Jean is smiling just now!

Our heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathy is extended to the family. "Miss Jean" was a wonderful example of Christ's love manifested. She was a cherished former co-worker,special friend and just a terrific lady. Earth's loss is Heaven's gain. I know she will truly be missed, but allow God's comfort to enfold you and strengthen you during the times ahead. Pat and Brenda Vandiver
