DD, Paw Paw, Dad, It's hard to put into words the pain that Bobby, myself, & the kids feel. Though your physical body is no longer with us, your memories will always remain. You have taught us so many things yet the most important that plays in my mind is the importance of taking our family to church. If I had to pick a favorite memory it would have to be the day that you & I spent together riding all over Greene County taking pictures of houses that you had built. I will always remember your sweet words about Bobby & I meeting. We all love & miss you very much but we know that you are in Heaven looking down on us. Until we meet again, eat lots of fried chicken & homemade fries. Make sure to tell your cook that she is only temporary. I love love love you! Love your daughter in law, Anjee. Ps...between you & me, Bobby has a lot of work to do to fill your shoes. Above all, you did a wonderful job with your boys. I married a great man, after all, he is your son.

To Donald's Family... All of us in the Class of '59 at GHS met him in 5th grade and from day 1 he was our friend. And long after graduating each time anyone of us saw him ,he was always the same Donald. He was a part of our past ,our childhood, our youth, an all around good guy. And it was obvious how many friends he'd made thru the years from all the people we saw at his funeral and all of them saying the same good things about him.. You boys take care of each other and your families & your mom.You know he'd expect that of you.. Bless you all.

Just read this online today and was saddened to know of Donald' death. Donald welcomed us when we moved here by inviting us to deer hunting, and more deer hunting. We ran into Donald at rodeos and trail rides. He never failed to make us feel welcomed. He was a fantastic craftsman in woodworking and people who have homes built by him have real treasures. He was a pleasant and friendly southern gentleman and will be missed. Please accept our sympathies Hazel and family. With prayers, Ruth and Jim

Aunt Hazel, Bobby, Billy, and Jack - I am so sorry for your loss, and I am praying for all of you. Uncle Donald is finally at peace and in no more pain. I know that he is in heaven hunting, fishing, riding horses, and building a few houses. It is not going to be the same without him around. I know the hardest times will be when everyone has gone back home and things are quiet around the house. I love you all dearly and hope to see everyone again soon.
