I had the pleasure of working with Pete in the late 70's in Madison at Wellington flotation. He always had a great story to tell and kept us laughing. He was a fine man and will be sadly missed. I send you all my sympathies.

My dearest LaVerne & other family members: We were so sadden to read in the newspaper this morning – that your beloved Daddy had passed away. It isn’t easy to lose a parent. You never really ‘get’ over this; “however” Our God has a way, of healing this pain that is in your heart… as time passes, day by day.. time does heal well. only if you allow this deep emotion to take hold of your inner indepth Heart that is so filled with LOVE…. Our Prayers & Blessings are with you at this point in time in your life… we will walk slowly along side of you, with you guardian Angels… Our deepest love to you LaVerne & your entire family unit… With all of our love, Connie & Herb Algermissen Greensboro, Georgia Friday 27th of June 2008

Your family has been in our thoughts and prayers this weekend. Your father was a kind and loving father and you were all fortunate to be raised by such loving parents. You all have a lot of wonderful memories of good times together throughout the years. You were truly blessed to have been raised by such wonderful parents. I know you will cherish these memories. I, also, have good memories of the many times I spent at your house growing up. We haven't faced a loss of a parent yet but I know it is coming and it will be hard. May your memories comfort you in the days ahead. Pattie and Dwayne Gilbert
