Haven't seen your mother in 40 years, but I knew her when she worked at NGA. What a pleasant person to greet the teachers every school day! Know you have great memories of her.

Todd and James, Amanda and are sorry to hear the sad news. We had so much fun hanging out at your house when we were younger. Jerry was way cool and always made us feel at home. We were just reminiscing about the awesome snacks she kept in the pantry! Her laid back demeanor and gererosity towards us brings back fond memories. She was an awesome lady and seemed to have it figured out. We are thinking of you and your family and take care of yourselves. Becky and Amanda

Jerry and I were best friends when we were children. We spent many nights and days at each other's homes. I remember her grandfather Patrick telling me, "Just look at Jerry's legs. I think she traded legs with a sparrow and the sparrow got cheated." He was such a comic! My brother, Fred Moon and his wife, Florence lived near Jerry, Kenneth, Maude and Elmer. So when I visited my brother, I also visited the Patricks and when I visited the Patricks, I also visited my brother. When my neice, Rhonda (Moon) Byce was less than a year old, Fred and Florence carried Jerry and me on vacation with them to Jacksonville Beach, Fla. technically to help them care for Rhonda. However, Jerry and I had so much fun playing in the ocean that we probably weren't very much help. We started school together and finished high school together and unfortunately haven't seen each other but a few times since then. But I will always remember her as my very best childhood friend. I was so saddened to hear of her untimely death and I do plan to be at the funeral on Sat. with my neice, Rhonda, whose husband Billy Byce, is Jerry's cousin. I want to meet her children and see Kenneth. See you then. Dean

Todd and James, Words cannot express how much sympathy I feel for you. Losing one of your parents is the hardest things in life you have to face. I have been lifting you both up in prayer since I heard this sad news. My dad was so fond of your family and loved to coon hunt with you guys and your dad. I remember coming to yall's house when I was little, Todd was a toddler and James was a new born. Your Mom was so sweet and had a beautiful smile. Your family is precious to the Allen Family and we love you ALL. God Bless You guys and if there is anything we can do just let us know. Sincerely, Pam Allen Vaughn

Todd, James, and families- I guess Jerry and I shared more ball games together than either of us want to remember. Hot -hot - days. Tournaments and motel rooms in the middle of nowhere. We had lost touch since she left Pinecrest, but we had a lot of fun times and she was a wonderful friend, who loved and supported her boys. She most certainly was a great grandmother, too, and one who's shoes will not be filled. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
