Charles and Harold, Your Mother was so good when Mother was sick - I would call her and she would go over and check on Mother. We have alot of great memories from our childhood - I remember us going to your house in Penfield. Linda and I stopped by and visited with her last summer and she told us about our families - how she was kin to Granny, etc. I know you are going to miss her - she was a great person. My thoughts are with you. Jill Newton Tanner

I am the daughter of Vernon and Betty Deckard. I moved from Kentucky to Indiana almost 30 years ago when I married and have only been to Georgia once or twice in all those years. I do remember Aunt Zadelle and most of my memories of her are the times she came to sit and talk with my Grandma Massey. I guess their having another one of their good, long talks right now along with the rest of those who have gone on before. Grandma always said, "There's a great day coming" and that's the wonderful family reunion we can all look forward to. My love to each of you and our extended family.
