I'm so sorry Christy and the babies and Garrett's family. I had the privilege and deepest honor of meeting Garretts family with my cousin Christy a few Easter's ago. All such beautiful people. I love you all and am here for you if I am capable.

Garrett was a very charismatic charming man. He could make you smile even when you didn't want to. There was no doubt how much he loved his wife and kids.

I can't imagine how Christy will go on without her other half. I want to add my favorite poem dedicated to the love I believe in my heart that they shared and continue to have for each other.

"I carry your heart with me(I carry it in
my heart) I am never without it(anywhere
I go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
I fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet) I want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and its you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart(I carry it in my heart)"
-E.E Cummings

Garrett was and will always be the love of my life, my better half, the best man I know. He will be carried in our hearts and thoughts forever. He gave me three beautiful children that I am so thankful for and the reason I can keep going. Leanna, Emma and Benjamin will always be his legacy. We love you forever Garrett/Daddy!
