Willie Mae Sisson

Willie Mae Sisson of Union Point, Ga died Tuesday August 11, 2015 at the Greene Point Nursing Home. She was 84.  She was born September 17, 1930 in Siloam, Ga to the late William and Katie Johnson Walker; attended school in Siloam as a child and graduated from Union Point High School in 1947.  During her working career, she worked for Style Rite in Woodville and Holiday Inn in Madison.  She enjoyed traveling, spending time outdoors, and sewing and is a member of the First Baptist Church in Union Point.

She is survived by three daughters:  Karen Sisson York, New York, Ben and Debbie Sisson Askew, Union Point, Ga, and Pat Sisson Huff, Irmo, South Carolina; three grandchildren:  Katie Huff Boozer and husband Chad, Laura Huff, and Ellie Askew; three great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends, especially at Greene Point Nursing Home.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Callaway Funeral Home Chapel, 208 N. Rhodes Street, Union Point, Ga 30669 with Rev. Marc Lhowe officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until time for the service at Callaway Funeral Home in Union Point.  The family requests any memorials be made to Oconee Regional Humane Society, 1020 Park Avenue #101, Greensboro, GA 30642.  Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N.
