Terry Wesley Cannon

Terrial Wesley “Terry” Cannon, 47, of Greensboro, Georgia died Saturday, April 26, 2003. Born November 15, 1955 in Greene County, he was the son of Hazel Lee Herrington Cannon and the late Truman David Cannon, Jr.. He attended Greene County High School and worked at Conex Plastic Industries in maintenance. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Kaye Whitlock. In addition to his mother he is survived by three step daughters, Jonie Whitlock of Crawfordville, GA, Dana Whitlock of Newborn, GA and Jenna Whitlock of Eatonton, GA; two brothers, Doug Cannon of Greensboro, GA and George “Corky” Cannon and wife Marsha of Greshamville, GA; Six grandchildren, Jasmine Whitlock, Justin Whitlock, Tristiana Chapman, Tristian Chapman, Allyssa Adams and Donovan Caswell. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 28, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Greshamville with Rev. Mike Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Larry Herrington, Randy Herrington, Tim Duvall, Robbie Jones, Ray Sellers and Zippy Duvall. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday night at the Funeral Home. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W. Broad St., Greensboro, GA, (706) 453-2626, is in charge of arrangements.
