Robert Germany Obituary

Robert Albert Germany (74), died Thursday, August 3, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Louisville, KY to the late Robert Hugh Germany and Thelma Irene Slaton Germany.

Robert was a graduate of Norman College. He worked for Allstate Insurance Company in Macon, GA as an agent for twenty years, retiring in 1993. He moved from Milledgeville to Greensboro four years ago. He was an avid square dancer, he loved to read, and do volunteer work.

He will be missed by his daughter Robyn McGhee, her husband Donnell, two sons, Chris Germany and wife Tammy, Sean Germany, and a sister, Barbara Hightower. He enjoyed his six grandchildren and one great granddaughter, other relatives and friends.

Family and friends of Robert A. Germany are invited to attend a memorial celebrating the life of Robert “Pop” Germany. This will be held Saturday September 9th at 10:30 am at The Barn at Jennifer Lane in Covington, Ga. Dress is casual. The venue is located at 200 Jennifer Lane, Covington.
