Mary Alice Lovell

Mary Alice Lovell, 84, of Greensboro, GA, formerly of Osage Beach, MO and Springfield, IL passed away on May 7, 2013 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Springfield, IL on March 18, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William H. Watts and Ruby Ethel Reynolds Watts. She attended Lanphier High School. Her life long career in fine jewelry began at Heinemann''s Jewelry store and advanced through Sarah Coventry, JB Robins, and Christian Bernard. With Sarah Coventry, she was a Regional Manager and won many awards.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Matthews and her husband Richard of Greensboro, GA and Rita Kelley and her husband Jim of Florence, TX; a sister, Ruby Coady of Springfield, IL; grandchildren, Traci Penrod and her husband Jack and their boys Jordy and Rian, Kimberly Stevens and her husband Rick and their daughters Taylor and Hannah; nieces Beverly, Bonnie, Brenda, Judy and Cheryl; nephews Bobby and Jimmy; a special Family to her, Rudy and Elaine Hecker, Tim and Lorna Monroe and their children Camille and James, Allan and Kathy Hecker, and their son Connor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Eldridge Lovell; her son Russell E. Lovell; her parents William and Ruby Ethel Watts; Rudy Hecker; and her sisters Nancy Ellenberg and Irene Stewart.

A Memorial Service will be held, Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lake Oconee Lutheran Church, 1089 Lake Oconee Parkway NE, Eatonton, GA 31024, Telephone 706-485-4600, with Pastor Ron Schornhorst and Pastor David Bernthal officiating.
