James Davis, Sr Obituary

James Paul Davis, Sr., age 66, of Eatonton, GA, died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle, GA. Born in Fulton County, GA on December 1, 1940 he was the son of the late Paul Horace Davis and Mary Nell Hunt Davis. He was a graduate of Rosevelt High School in Atlanta, GA. He moved to the lake area three years ago where he was a car salesman for Lake Oconee Chevrolet in Greensboro.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Dean Davis of Eatonton, GA; a daughter, Wendy Davis and husband Mike of Panama City, FL; two sons, James Paul Davis, Jr. and wife Carolyn of Eatonton, GA and Ricky Gerald Davis and wife Robyn of Fayetteville, GA; five grandchildren, Christy Cramer, Courtney Davis, Amanda Davis, Brittany Davis and Tiffany Davis; three great grandchildren, Julie Cramer, Jeffrey Cramer and Jordan Cramer; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Floyd Henderson officiating.
