Harold Finch Obituary

Harold Edgar Finch, age 71 of Greensboro, GA died Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Eatonton Health and Rehabilitation Center. A lifelong resident of Greene County he was born on August 13, 1937, to the late Edgar Boswell Finch and Macy Wilson Finch. All of his working career he was the operator of heavy equipment. Harold was a member of the Penfield Presbyterian Church and loved the Penfield Christian Home where he volunteered on a regular basis. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed telling tales of the past.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Strickland Finch, of Greensboro, GA; three daughters, Natalie Dixon and husband Stan of Elberton, GA, Julie Taylor and husband Tony of Toccoa, GA and Paige Burnette of Greensboro, GA; three sons, Terry Finch and wife Tami of Elberton, GA, Jeff Finch of Pigeon Forge, TN and Jonathan Burnette of Elberton, GA; eleven grandchildren; many other relatives and friends; and his beloved dogs, Patton, Chloe and Pebbles and cats, Precious, Callie and Rose.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Cofer and Rev. Ken Klun officiating. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
