Glenn Eugene Finch

Glenn Eugene Finch, age 70, of Greensboro, GA died Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at Boswell Parker Nursing Center. Born in Greene County on June 15, 1934 he was the son of the late Glenn Boswell Finch and Lillie Belle Jennings Finch. He graduated from Greensboro High School and Athens Business College. During his career he was a bookkeeper for Nipper Auto Parts, Askew Appliance and Ashley Auto Parts.

He is survived by a sister, Connie Tatman and husband Jim of Marietta, GA; two brothers, Johnny Finch and wife Carol of Greensboro, GA and Ronnie L. Finch, Sr. and wife Judy of Union Point, GA; nine nieces; nine nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Finch King and Evelyn Finch Dunn.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 1, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Leonard Ezell officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are his nephews, Paul Finch, Darien Finch, Pete Finch, Matt Finch, Lee Finch, Sam Dunn, Joe King Jr., Chris King and Tim King. The family requests that any memorials be made to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
