Frank James Hamilton, Jr

Frank James Hamilton, Jr., 78, of Eatonton, GA died Wednesday, April 29, 2009. He was born in Jefferson County, Alabama on March 16, 1931 to the late Frank James Hamilton, Sr. and Susan Amanda McCutchen Hamilton. He served from October of 1949 to August of 1952 in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired in Telecommunication Sales for Cable TV. Mr. Hamilton lived in Eatonton for the past fourteen years and was a member of Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church in Eatonton, GA.

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Butler Hamilton of Eatonton, GA; a daughter, Amanda Hamilton Weekly of Eatonton, GA; three sons, Frank J. Hamilton, III of Loganville, GA, Jeff Hamilton of Suwanee, GA and Brian Hamilton of Milledgeville, GA; five grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, May 1, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA. with Dr. Joe King officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, May 1, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at the Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church. The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
