Ella Clements Obituary

Ella Meredith Askew Clements, age 85, of Siloam, Georgia, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003. A native of Hancock County she was born September 26, 1917 to the late William Askew and Pearl Smith Askew. She was a homemaker and member of Siloam Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Byron Clements. She is survived by a daughter, Priscilla L. Hassett of Social Circle, GA; a son, Larry Lewis of Northeast, Maryland and a sister, Aileen Rogers of Covington, GA.

Private memorial services will be held Monday, March 24, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. James Bowen officiating. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Alzheimer''s Association, Greater Georgia Chapter, 1925 Century Blvd., NE, Ste. 10, Atlanta, GA 30345. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W. Broad St., Greensboro, GA, (706) 453-2626, is in charge of arrangements.
