Delia Durham Buford of Woodville, Georgia, died on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the age of 85. Born in Thomson, Georgia on September 25, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Green Durham and Alvada Gunn Durham.  She graduated from Thomson High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Bessie Tift College.  She married Ennis Clifford Buford who preceded her in death. For a while she ran a convenience store in Woodville, but most of her life she was a homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her family and was a talented piano player. During her lifetime she played at Crawfordville, Sparta,  Siloam, Penfield and Bethany.  Delia was a member of the Penfield Presbyterian Church.
 
In addition to her husband, Ennis Clifford Buford, she was preceded in death by her only son, Clarence Wesley “Bo” Buford; and her brother, Clarence Gunn Durham.  She is survived by grandchildren, Sam Buford (Julie) of Greensboro, Georgia, Valerie Lynn Underwood (Travis) of Greensboro, Georgia and Alan Sherrer (Jennifer) of Greensboro, Georgia; great grandchildren, MacKenzie, Kaylee Michelle, Shelby, Timmy (Bubba), Tiffany, Andrew, Joey, and Avery; cousins, Reginald Gunn (Mary Lou) of Tiger, Georgia and Martin Gunn (Jo) of Alexandria, Virginia; sister-in-law, Ruth Durham of Maryville, Tennessee; many other relatives and friends.
 
Memorial Services will be held Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Penfield Presbyterian Church with Rev. Reggie Haslett officiating.  Burial will be in the Woodville Cemetery.  Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N.
